The Joy of Sisters!

Here's me and my sis, Tiffany! She came out with my niece, Giada, to visit, and we had the best time touring around good old Kentucky! I love these two gals so much. They are some of the best sis' a girl could ask for.

Here's Giada and Kira at the Stephen Foster Musical! Loved the show! Giada watched Kira pretty much the whole week. She dressed her everyday, changed her diapers, put her to sleep, the works!

Tiffy is squeezing through Fat Man's Misery at Mammoth Cave. For her, it's not too much of squeeze though. : )

We dipped our own candles there too. It was sweet! We were like little pioneer women.

What am I doing here, you ask? Only eating a Deep Fried Cookie Dough Origi-nal at the Kentucky State Fair! De-licious!!! Loved it!

Here we are at the fair checking out the winning horses. While at the fair, I noticed a stroller beside Kira's stoller. I looked in and what did I see? Dogs! A woman had a stoller and was using it for her dogs. I kid you not!

We also went to the zoo. As you can see, Kira loved it! She liked the baby elephant.

Tif loved it too. Especially after being groomed by the Lorakeet!

Of course we had to stop and see Mikey one day too. Check him out, lookin' all hot in his cubey, wearin' them blue scrubs! Rrarrrr!

All in all, we had a fabulous week! We traveled to lots of sights, played lots of games, and watched lots of movies. Giada even introduced me to the world of High School Musical while she was here. Thanks for coming to visit girls! We loved it!

Back in Business!

This is 7 month old Kira!

Well howdy there, y'all! We're back in our little Kentucky home. We had a knee spankin' good time traveling out west. It was so great to see our families and introduce Kira to most our family members for the first time. Kira is definitely a people person and loved all the attention she could get from grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. While out west we were able to: see Mt. Rushmore, fish, golf, jet ski, wakeboard, whitewater raft, play on the lake, hike, swim like crazy, and spend time with the fam and friends. It was a great summer! Tragedies on the trip were limited to my hair turning green and me contracting pink eye. What can I say? I looked dead sexy with green hair, flaming red eyes, and such. (Speaking of red eyes, I just finished Breaking Dawn. Loved it!!! Actually I dreamed I was a vampire for two nights while reading it.) It was suggested that I wash my hair with ketchup to get some of the green out. So I smelled like a nice hamburger for a couple days, but hey, it helped a lot. Anywho, I can't believe that it's Mike's senior year of dental school. The time has flown by! Graduation is only 9 months away. Oh mylanta! We're excited to see everyone again and super excited to be back in Kentucky! Check out some pics from our trip below!
